This notice ("Notice") has been prepared by Sarı & Kılıç Partnership Law Office ("Sarı & Kılıç") to inform job applicants ("Data Subject") about the processing of personal data ("Personal Data") shared with Sarı & Kılıç under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and related legislation.
Data Processing Activities and Scope
Personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, subcontractors, domestic and/or international service providers whose systems are used to sustain business activities, domestic and/or international group companies and relevant public authorities in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK. The purpose of processing and the purpose of transfer are aligned.
Sarı & Kılıç cooperates with intermediary institutions for supportive services such as execution of business processes, arrangement of working hours and preparation or archiving of documents required in personnel files. Within this scope, your personal data may be shared with relevant institutions for them to fulfil their duties and in compliance with the KVKK.
The personal data listed below relating to the data subject are processed by Sarı & Kılıç within the scope of a potential employment relationship in accordance with the purposes and processing conditions set out in this Notice.
Name and surname, date of birth, gender, Turkish ID number, marital status, nationality, passport details, title and role information, telephone number, address, e-mail address, photograph, camera recordings, association and foundation membership, disability status, blood type, smoking status, education details, diplomas and certificates, foreign language proficiency, professional training and competencies, seminar and course information, work experience, current employment status and position, previous employers, employment start and end dates, job descriptions, driving licence details, hobbies, military service status, reference contact details and Word, Excel and presentation files attached to CVs.
Personal Data of the Data Subject obtained by Sarı & Kılıç due to a job application are processed in physical and/or electronic environments on the legal grounds that processing is explicitly required by legislation, necessary for establishment or performance of an employment contract, necessary for legitimate interests of Sarı & Kılıç without prejudice to fundamental rights and freedoms, or where data has been made public by the data subject.
Personal data of the Data Subject are retained for 5 (five) years and/or in accordance with statutory retention periods depending on processing purposes.
Your Rights
Regarding your personal data, you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is being processed;
- request information if your personal data has been processed;
- learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly;
- know third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad;
- request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data;
- request deletion or destruction of personal data under conditions set out in the KVKK;
- request notification of correction, deletion or destruction to third parties;
- object to adverse results arising exclusively from automated analysis;
- request compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
